Anti-Slavery Day Awards - Nominations Now Open!

UK Anti-Slavery Day on 18th October 2023 is a chance to raise awareness of modern slavery, highlight good practice, and focus attention on the areas of policy and practice where improvements still need to be made. Each year HTF hosts Anti-Slavery Day Awards to celebrate the work done by those working in the anti-trafficking sector on important issues of human trafficking, and those who have made an outstanding contribution to the fight against modern slavery.

The nominations for awards are now open for 2023. Anyone professionally connected to modern slavery or anyone who benefits from the services a modern slavery organisation provides can send in a nomination. A shortlist for the awards will be announced on our website once nominations close.

Nominations should be submitted by Tuesday 1st August at 5pm ahead of shortlisting and voting, along with any questions you have about the nomination form.

The following awards are in the ‘Outstanding Contributions’ category

The Marsh Awards for Outstanding Contributions to the Fight Against Slavery recognise the work of individuals and organisations going over and above what is expected. The categories are:

  • Reducing Vulnerabilities (Advocacy Award)
  • Rebuilding Lives (Frontline Award)
  • Empowering Survivor Voices Award
  • Statutory Services Award

Consider nominating individuals and organisations which are doing fantastic work, but who are perhaps not getting the recognition they deserve, including public officials. Each award winner will receive a grant of £1000 from Marsh Charitable Trust.
